Disable automatic windows update

Windows, when connected to the internet, will try to do updates. Here is how to prevent it from happening.

For Windows to not download and update automatically, you can run gpedit.msc and under:
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update
set the Configure Automatic Updates to Notify for download and auto install
