Nvidia Background TOP
When importing .tox files containing a Nvidia Background TOP, it may not seem to do anything, encounter pixel formatting errors
This TOP uses Nvidia Maxine Video Effects,
which is the same module used by the
People Mask
.
We would recommend using Smode’s People Mask for most masking setups.
However, if you’re in a setup where you want the Nvidia Background TOP to do specific masking inside the .tox file, you may encounter the situation where,
when importing the .tox file inside smode, the background masking doesn’t happen at all.
The Nvidia Background TOP requires specific pixel formats to function correctly. You can do so with the following workaround:
-
In your .tox network, place a Resolution TOP before the Nvidia-Background TOP.
-
In the Resolution TOP, go to the Common tab, and set the pixel format to 8-bit fixed (RGBA).
-
Ensure the Nvidia-Background TOP is also set to the same pixel format as the Resolution TOP.
When importing into Smode, it should now do background masking correctly.
