NDI Output
Video Output Device - Send video output into NDI
Enables sending a video stream to the NewTek NDI (Network Device Interface) broadcast standard. Please check the Video Output Device section to learn how to configure the device.
You can download and install the NewTek NDI SDK from here: https://www.newtek.com/ndi/sdk/. This will enable you to run the ‘NDI Video Monitor’ application to check if the signal is correctly sent (don’t forget to Enable Output ).
If you encounter an error stating ’texture can’t be updated’ try setting the color space to one of the available formats. This issue may arise when the sender broadcasts in one format and then sends in another, requiring manual adjustment.
Variables:
- Color Space: Color space of the ndi output . It can be RGBA BGRA or YUV422 for compressed colorspace. Note that UYVA and 4:2:0 formats (YV12 NV12 I420) are not yet supported. Note that interlaced output formats are not yet available.
- Group: Sets an NDI group for your output (you will need to set it in the NDI Access Manager to allow the app to receive the group on the other machine).
