Control Device - Use a Stype tracking system

Smode implements the Stype protocol as a Control Device for camera tracking.

If your device is well configured, you should see messages like this on the device panel:

Stype communicates tracking data as well as optical deformations to Smode.

In Stype’s model, the optic deformations are calculated according to the size of the camera chip.

You can find the size of the chip, directly in the Tracker if its Tracking System is connected to this device, or inside a connected Physical Camera if it uses this camera model.

These data are then automatically reinterpreted by Smode when using a Physical Camera .

The optical deformations are represented by the parameters K1 and K2 of a Stype’s Tracker .
