Tracker
A Tracker represents a real tracker and is part of a Tracking System
Created inside a Tracking System this object allows you to get back the datas sent by a Tracking Control Device ( Stype Tracking system or Blacktrax Device for examples).
Manual vs Auto Creation
You can manually create trackers by right-clicking on the Tracking System if you do not have any devices plugged into your Smode or if this Device do not send values to it.
But the best is to directly get the datas into your Smode, or use a software to simulate an entry of datas because trackers do not only receive and transmit position and orientation values
For Example, the tracking protocol of a Stype Tracking system transmit optical distortion to Smode, that can then be used by a Physical Camera to fit the reality.
Examples of datas provided by a Stype Tracking system :
Use datas of a tracker
As usual, you are free to create Link from any values of a tracker .
But keep in mind that there is the specific Link To Tracker that make the job easier.
Variables:
- Correction Position: allows you to offset the Position of the object linked to the Tracker with a Link To Tracker
- Correction Orientation: allows you to offset the Orientation of the object linked to the Tracker with a Link To Tracker
