In order to bring more than just statically composited material in a
Compo
, Smode introduces the concept of bank .
In Smode, a bank stores a specific type of object that has no effect on the output image (it is not drawn on screen, it is not an image, a mesh or a modifier).
There are four types of banks: for
Material Bank

Animation Bank
,
Parameter Bank
and
Link Bank

A Bank has two modes - edit on and edit off:
When in edition mode, it lists its content as its children in the
Element Tree
. You can then add content to the bank, re-order it, remove it and edit its parameters.
When not in edition mode, your bank acts as a non-editable object whose parameters offer restricted control over its content:
