Unreal Control tool

Release 10.2 allows to chose the Unreal scene and control its exposed parameters directly from SMODE’s interface. This feature is available in all editions of Smode Compose and Smode Live.

DX12 Output

SMODE 10.2 is now by default using the DirectX12 graphics API to handle the GPU graphics outputs and genlock / multi server sync, as a replacement for OpenGL.

This technological advancement does not require any changes from users and allows them to benefit from the latest developments in GPU drivers.

Transcode Option

Video transcode window now introduce multiple long-awaited options:

  • Precise control over input and output points

  • resolution changes

  • Frame rate reinterpretation

Transcode:

  • New: resize in the transcode option

  • New: Begin and End point for transcode

  • Chg: ffmpeg.exe update for transcode

Device:

  • Fix: Spout video input layer is black

  • Fix: Streamdeck activates/disactivates layers only once

  • Fix: Undo Share element on Scene make the activation disappears from element tree

  • Opt: First activation of layers is now faster

UI/UX:

  • New: Popup with selector when GPU selection is not valid

  • Fix: Expose as percentage on a placement with PX mode show % in popup

  • Fix: Progress bar status message not refreshed anymore

  • Chg: ComboBox enableFlyOver only when mouse click stay down.

  • Chg: Rename affine camera into Standard Camera + frustum

Animation:

  • Fix: Reverse speed on tracks bugs

  • Fix: Timeline GUI Update bugs when moving tracks / making shared elements

  • Fix: Element track block autolength remains active when resizing the block

Smode Net:

  • Fix: Project’s pipeline outputs disconnection are not properly mirrored

  • Fix: File drag and drop path parameter have different value depending if it is done from Server or from Remote

  • Chg: Remove activation and loading on Project Element

Licensing:

  • New: Inform users that its Smode Edition license will expire
