Both a Sync provider and Time provider need to be set correctly to have a good output, it’s always better that the time provider source is genlocked.
Sync provider
The Sync providers are for the rendering of the frame. It tells SMODE when to start rendering a new frame and when to sent the result the output.
With a multiservers setup you need to use the GPU VSync with a Quadro card.
Time Provider
The Time Providers allow every server animations to moves at the same speed and stays in sync. This is the Time reference for the transport of Timeline , Function Cue or Transport .
